Garden Museum

Local nameGarden Museum
LocationLondon, UK

This small museum was founded in 1977 next to the church of St. Mary's. Visit the museum to discover the history of gardening through a collection of tools, pictures, and books. It also contains the enigmatic tomb of John Tradescant, the first great gardener, and plant-hunter in British history.

The museum was reopened after a reconstruction in spring 2017 and visitors can now climb the medieval tower and enjoy views across the Thames to Westminster.
