Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, this building is considered to be one of the best works in his whole career. It was finished in 1959 and bears the name of its benefactor - Solomon R. Guggenheim.
You will be able to see the works of famous and unknown artists alike, some of them being Paul Klee, Franz Marc, Robert Delaunay, Marc Chagall or Fernand Léger. The exhibitions offered quickly change, so every time you visit, you will have a completely different experience.
The museum also has an app, where you can find further information about the various collections and the building itself, if you wish so.
Make sure to check the schedule of the museum before visiting, because the rotunda might be closed if the exhibitions are being changed at that moment. If you come here during the time when you can pay what you wish for a ticket, bear in mind that the lines start forming at 5:15 pm, so head here a bit sooner.
Last ticket issued 30 minutes before closing.
