Divadlo města Ústí nad Labem

The theater is housed in a neo-baroque building designed by architect Alexander Graf, featuring prominent Art Nouveau elements. Construction dates back to 1901, and the venue officially opened its doors in 1909. Designated as a cultural monument, the structure contains a main auditorium with a seating capacity for 800 people. Until July 2025, the institution operated under the name Severočeské divadlo opery a baletu (North Bohemian Theater of Opera and Ballet).

The repertoire focuses on a diverse range of performing arts, including opera, ballet, and musical theater performances. In addition to staging its own local productions, the venue hosts guest performances and orchestral concerts. It functions as a primary cultural institution for the region, providing a stage for professional theatrical and musical arts.
