Aksla

Standing 189 meters high, this mountain serves as a significant local landmark. The summit is reached by climbing 418 steps from Byparken, or by road using a car, taxi, or sightseeing bus.

The peak houses the Fjellstua restaurant and the Kniven observation point, which provide panoramic views of the town center, the fjords, and the Sunnmøre Alps. Several forest paths and recreational areas are distributed across the mountain for hiking and outdoor activities.

The site is open to the public and offers multiple vantage points overlooking the surrounding islands.
