Stadium 974

Opened in late 2021, this modular stadium was designed by Fenwick Iribarren Architects. The structure is notable for being constructed using 974 repurposed shipping containers, making it the first fully demountable and transportable venue in FIFA World Cup history. It has a maximum capacity of 45,000 people.

The venue served as a landmark site for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the 2021 Arab Cup. While initially planned for complete dismantling following these tournaments, the stadium remains standing and has continued to host various international football matches and major cultural events as of 2025.

In addition to sporting events, the site functions as a venue for large-scale entertainment, including high-profile concerts and global stadium tours. The facility is wheelchair accessible and serves as a significant location for world-class performances and international sports.
