This working rum production facility was established in 1995 on the site of a former sugar factory and plantation. The estate encompasses a heritage park and a folk museum housed within restored historic buildings. The museum contains a collection of antique rum manufacturing equipment and exhibits documenting the history of rum production.
The facility operates with an open house policy, allowing for self-guided tours of the distillery at leisure. These tours cover the various stages of the rum-making process, including fermentation and distillation.
On-site facilities include a tasting room and a copper still bar where various rums are available for sampling. The grounds feature a mix of modern production areas and preserved historical structures.
