Fort Hamilton

This Victorian-era stone garrison was constructed by the British in 1870. The fort features a distinct pentagonal design and a unique rolling drawbridge. Its structure includes battlements, dungeons, and a network of underground tunnels. Ongoing archaeological restoration projects have recently uncovered historical graffiti within the site.

Situated on a hilltop, the site provides panoramic views of the harbor. The former dry moat has been transformed into lush tropical gardens with floral displays and manicured lawns. The area functions as a public park and event venue, and the historical battlements and passages are open for exploration.
