Nové Město Castle

This national cultural monument originated as a fortress in 1501 and was later expanded by the Pernštejn family. The architectural evolution spans Renaissance, Baroque, and Neoclassical styles, with major 20th-century modifications designed by the architect Dušan Jurkovič, who integrated modern elements into the historic structure.

The site is open to the public and provides guided tours through its historic interiors and art collections. A significant feature of the complex is the garden, which contains architectural designs by Dušan Jurkovič and a collection of Baroque sculptures created by Matthias Bernhard Braun.

Beyond its historical significance, the property serves as a regional cultural venue. It provides facilities for accommodation, weddings, and various cultural events throughout the year.
