Opened in 1991, this beautiful tranquil park stands in a sharp contrast to the skyscrapers surrounding it. It is a great place for a peaceful stroll and some relaxation in the middle of this busy city.
The park is home to Edward Youde Aviary where you can spot about 70 different species of birds. There is also a Forsgate Conservatory where you can see many different species of plants.
The park also contains a Sports Centre and a Squash Centre in case you wish to do some sports during your visit. If you are visiting the park with children, be sure to stop by the colourful playground.
Aviary and conservatory: daily 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sports Centre: 7 a.m. - 11 p.m.
No entrance fee.
