Is Tripomatic free?
Yes. Tripomatic has a free plan with no time limit: create trips, discover places, add flights, see travel alerts and public holidays, share your plans and plan together with others, and get answers to the AI assistant's preset questions. The free plan includes up to 5 days with planned activities per calendar month across all your trips and up to 25 places and hotels per trip, and it shows ads. Tripomatic Premium removes these limits and the ads, and adds offline maps, trip export to PDF, GPX and KML, premium map layers, trip attachments, live flight updates, and custom AI prompts and follow-up questions.
Can I plan a road trip with multiple stops in Tripomatic?
Yes. You can add as many destinations as you need and organize them into a day-by-day itinerary. Tripomatic shows you the route between stops so you can plan your driving time and decide how many days to spend at each location.
Can I use Tripomatic offline without an internet connection?
With Tripomatic Premium, you can download offline maps in the mobile app that include all the places in your trip and use them without an internet connection.
How is Tripomatic different from Google Maps?

Can I plan a hiking or biking trip in Tripomatic?
Tripomatic works for all types of trips, including hiking and biking. Simply select your preferred transport type in the day settings.
Can I print my trip itinerary?
Yes. With Tripomatic Premium, you can download your trip itinerary as a PDF and print it.
Can I save and reuse my itineraries?
All your trips are saved in your account. You can revisit them, duplicate them, or use them as a starting point for a new trip.
Can I track my travel costs in Tripomatic?
Yes. You can add a cost to any stop, route, or day, and Tripomatic adds them up in your home currency. With Tripomatic Premium, the AI assistant can estimate the costs of each day from your itinerary, and you can replace any estimate with the real price once you book.
Can I collaborate on a trip with other people?
You can easily share your trip with others and choose whether they can edit it or view it only.
Can I add my own notes to my trip?
Yes. You can add notes to each day, place, or route in your trip.
Does Tripomatic warn me about problems at my destination?
Yes. Tripomatic shows official travel advisories, severe weather warnings, natural hazards, strikes, and transport disruptions for the places in your trip, right on the days they affect. Public holidays and festivals appear on each day too. Both are free.
Can I keep my tickets and booking confirmations in Tripomatic?
Yes. With Tripomatic Premium, you can attach booking confirmations, tickets, and other travel documents to your trip as PDFs, photos, Office files, or emails. The AI assistant can read them and add flights, hotels, and booking numbers to your plan. Everyone you share the trip with can open them.
Can I track my flights in Tripomatic?
You can add flights to your trip for free, by flight number or by route and date. With Tripomatic Premium, the flight card shows live updates on travel day: status, delays, gate, terminal, and baggage belt.
