Monastery of Saint John of the Kings

The monastery was built in the Isabelline Gothic style to commemorate the victory of the Catholic Monarchs at the Battle of Toro and the birth of their son. Its design is attributed to the architect Juan Guas, featuring notable Gothic architecture elements and rich artistic decorations. The site functions as both a place of worship and a cultural heritage monument, recognized as a National Monument for its historical and architectural value.
