Commissioned by Jashar Pasha, the former governor of Skopje, this 19th-century clock tower was designed to assist local traders with timekeeping for business and prayer. The structure reaches a height of 26 meters and features a distinct hexagonal floor plan, built using a combination of sandstone and brick.
The tower has been a protected monument since 1967. Its clock system was modernized in 2002, and recent restoration efforts have ensured the landmark continues to mark the time. It stands as a significant example of Ottoman-era architecture.
