De La Fratta Castle is a historic tower constructed in 1253 on Monte Titano on the foundations of an ancient Roman fortress. It is one of the three iconic towers in the area and played a key defensive role in the medieval period. The castle houses the Museum of Ancient Arms, established in 1956, which contains over 1,550 medieval and modern firearms.
