This 28-hectare landscape is the oldest Renaissance garden on the Adriatic coast, with origins dating back to the late 15th century. Founded by the di Gozze family, the site is managed by the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. It represents the country estate culture of the Croatian nobility during the late feudal period and is a protected cultural heritage site.

The grounds feature a diverse collection of Mediterranean and exotic plants, including two 500-year-old Oriental plane trees. Architectural highlights include a 15th-century aqueduct that feeds a Baroque fountain decorated with a statue of Neptune. The ensemble also contains a historic summer residence and various landscape elements from the Renaissance, Baroque, and Romantic periods.

The arboretum is open to the public and served as a filming location for the television series Game of Thrones, where it depicted the gardens of the House Tyrell. It is the only arboretum on the eastern Adriatic coast and is recognized as one of the most important architectural and landscape ensembles in the region.
