Morro Castle

The Castillo de los Tres Reyes del Morro is a 16th-century Spanish colonial fortification designed by the Italian engineer Bautista Antonelli. Constructed to serve as a strategic defensive structure guarding the entrance to the bay, the fortress stands as a prominent historical landmark. Records indicate that significant construction work also took place between approximately 1683 and 1700 to bolster the city's defenses.
