The Bermuda Railway Trail National Park spans 18 miles (29 kilometers) along the former right-of-way of the historic Bermuda Railway. The original rail line operated as a common carrier from 1931 until 1948, and the route was subsequently converted into a public hiking and cycling path in 1984. The trail traverses a variety of terrains, ranging from lush inland landscapes to sections along the rocky coastline.
The path provides high-angle views of the surrounding waters and the coastline. It is characterized by its peaceful environment and the presence of exotic flora and fauna. As a mixed-use trail, the route supports walking, running, biking, and horseback riding across its span.
The trail follows the original 20th-century railbed, providing a tranquil and scenic route for outdoor recreation. It is designated as a National Park and remains open to the public for exploration.
