This 1110-meter mountain is a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognized as a significant cultural landscape. It contains an extensive system of ancient cult sites and petroglyphs carved into the rock faces. The site serves as a major pilgrimage destination, illustrating a long-standing tradition that integrates both Islamic and pre-Islamic spiritual practices.

The mountain features several historical architectural monuments, including the Takht-i-Suleiman mosque and the Mausoleum of Asaf ibn Burhiya. A small mosque located on the site was originally built by Babur, the 16th-century founder of the Mughal Empire. These structures are integrated into the natural landscape alongside numerous historical caves.

The National Historical and Archaeological Museum Complex is situated on the mountain, housing artifacts and information regarding the site's history. The area is designated as a natural monument and a protected archaeological zone, with paths available for hiking and exploration.
