The Unfinished Church is a Gothic Revival structure commissioned in 1870 to serve as a replacement for St. Peter’s Church. Construction on the site was permanently halted in 1874 due to a combination of internal disagreements within the congregation and significant damage caused by a storm.

Today, the site is maintained as a stabilized ruin under the care of the Bermuda National Trust. Its architectural features represent 19th-century ecclesiastical design, though the building was never fully completed or consecrated for regular use.
