This large alpine lake is situated at an altitude of 3016 meters. Designated as a Wetland of International Importance and a protected nature reserve, the site encompasses the Song-Köl Valley and its surrounding pristine pastures.
The area is a center for traditional nomadic culture, where yurt camps are established during the summer months. These seasonal settlements facilitate traditional herding practices and provide accommodation for ecological tourism.
Available activities include horseback riding, multi-day trekking tours, and birdwatching. Access and camp operations are primarily limited to the warmer summer season.
