The glacier covers an area approximately 5 kilometers long and 6 kilometers wide within the Mischabel group. It reaches altitudes of up to 3600 meters, providing a high alpine landscape characterized by snow-assured terrain throughout the year. Access to the upper sections is provided by the Mittelallalin cable car.
