Mount Bintumani, also known as Loma Mansa, is the highest peak in Sierra Leone and the Loma Mountains, reaching an elevation of approximately 1,945 meters. Located in the Koinadugu District, the peak is a central feature of the Loma Mountains No Hunting Forest Reserve.
The lower slopes are characterized by tropical rainforests that provide a habitat for a variety of animals. Notable species found in the area include pygmy hippopotamuses, dwarf crocodiles, and several types of primates. The region is also home to the rufous fishing-owl.
