This historic stone bridge spans a dramatic gorge and serves as a vital crossing on the Gotthard route. The site consists of a sequence of three bridges constructed over the Reuss river. Local legends attribute the bridge's challenging construction to the devil, and the area holds historical significance due to its role in the Napoleonic Wars.
The site features a large Suvorov monument and an expressionist mural of the devil painted by the artist Heinrich Danioth. Multimedia exhibits provide detailed information about the history and legends surrounding the gorge and its bridges.
