Despite its name, this 1-5-kilometers-long street has nothing to do with cats. If you are into fashion or pop culture though, this street is a must-see stop for you.
Cat Street is the beating heart of Tokyo's fashion scene, and one of the most popular meeting places for its youth. This is surely thanks to the many street fashion shops that can be found on every step, and where you can buy anything from vintage clothes to high-end designer brands.
The downside of the street's popularity is that it may get quite crowded here, especially during the afternoons and at the weekends. The easiest way to get here is via public transport. It only takes about 5 minutes on foot to get here from the Shibuya Station.
The street is most lively on weekends.
