Once a glorious temple of God and the place of coronation of the Austro-Hungarian emperor, Francis, all that remains of this 13th-century church today is its belltower.
The church had survived the Turkish occupation of Hungary and even withstood a conversion into a mosque. It was only torn down during the Second World War.
Its ruins serve to inform visitors of the church's sad history.
