This majestic Baroque fountain is one of the highlights of the Nuremberg city park. It's size makes it really hard to overlook, too. After all, it's the largest Baroque fountain outside of Italy.
The Neptune fountain was made to celebrate the newfound peace at the end of the Thirty Years' War. It was originally located in the city center, with several petitions demanding its return there even today.
