Part of the PortAventura World resort, this large water park contains 16 attractions and slides. It's inspired by the Caribbean and features beaches, swimming pools, and palm trees.
One of the main draws is King Khajuna, the tallest free fall slide in Europe. The outdoor zone also offers a lazy river, a wave pool, two corkscrew slides and many other rides with tunnels and water cannons. The indoor part of the park offers rides and play areas designed for children. There's also a heated pool, jacuzzis and a sauna.
Multiple-day tickets are cheaper when bought online. You can get here by train, or you can take a bus operated by Plana from the Camp de Tarragona station or book a transfer organized by PortAventura.
Opening hours vary. Be sure to check the official website.
The park is open from from mid-May to mid-September. It opens at 10:30 am and closes at 6 or 7 pm.
