Shinsaibashi OPA

This famous mall and the surrounding shopping district have a long tradition. The place has been a site of busy street markets for almost four hundred years.

Today, it is one of the most visited shopping areas in Osaka. There are shops focusing on literally everything you can imagine - such as western fashion, Japanese traditional clothes, accessories, cosmetics, electronics etc.

Apart from that, you can find many restaurants and cafés here where you can taste some traditional Japanese dishes. There are also many international restaurant chains located here (e.g. McDonald's).

It is definitely a must visit for all shopaholics but even if you are not that into shopping, you should stop by to stroll through the area while savouring a delicious snack.
