This neo-baroque structure is a prominent example of cast-iron architecture, spanning a length of 180 meters. Completed in 1889, it was designed by architects Hans Miksch and Julian Feliks Niedzielski. The colonnade is recognized as a national cultural monument and represents a significant piece of regional heritage.
The interior of the promenade is decorated with ceiling frescoes created by artist Josef Vyleťal. Its cast-iron construction reflects the industrial and artistic trends of the late 19th century. The site is situated in immediate proximity to the well-known Singing Fountain.
As a central element of the local spa environment, the colonnade remains open to the public. It is also historically referred to as the Colonnade of Maxime Gorki.
