The Umana Yana is a significant national monument and a large, conical palm-thatched hut, known as a benab. Built in 1972 by the Wai-Wai people, the structure reaches a height of 16.78 meters. It was originally established as a VIP lounge and recreation center for the Non-Aligned Foreign Ministers Conference.
