Ceremonial Hall

Designed by architects Bohuslav Fuchs and Josef Polášek, this Functionalist landmark was constructed between 1925 and 1927. The building is a designated cultural heritage site noted for its monumental massing and emphasis on verticality. Its architectural design consists of a square-based ceremonial hall accompanied by a low-profile technical wing.

The interior is characterized by the use of noble materials, including marble. The structure serves as an active venue for memorial services and commemorative events, such as concerts honoring body donors to the Masaryk University Faculty of Medicine. It is situated near the main entrance of the complex, though it is architecturally distinct from the adjacent administrative structures.
