Puerto de Doha

This district is the oldest port in the country and served as its primary commercial deepwater port from 1971 until December 2016, when operations were moved to Hamad Port. Originally a historic center for pearl diving, the area has been reimagined into a modern maritime destination that integrates its historical legacy with luxury facilities.

The site features the Grand Cruise Terminal and a world-class marina designed to accommodate international vessels and serve as a global hub for yachting. The infrastructure is organized into lifestyle zones containing diverse retail outlets, food and beverage establishments, and cultural retailers. Boutique accommodations and parks are also situated within the district.

As a venue for major maritime activities, the port hosts events such as the Qatar Boat Show. The area functions as a center for recreation and maritime heritage, maintaining its status as a significant landmark.
