Church of San Juan Bautista

Local nameIglesia San Juan Bautista
LocationArucas, Spain

This catholic temple, also known as Arucas Church, is one of the most important sights of the municipality of Arucas. Even though the church was opened in 1917, it took another 60 years to be completed. Interestingly, this Neo-Gothic gem was built entirely from local stone. Worth visiting for its exquisite stained glass windows and elaborate carvings.
