Yhdistyneiden kansakuntien päämaja on Manhattanilla New Yorkissa, Yhdysvalloissa sijaitseva rakennuskompleksi. Se rakennettiin vuosina 1949–1950 ja se on toiminut YK:n päämajana vuodesta 1950 alkaen. Vaikka se on Yhdysvaltain maaperällä, päämajaa pidetään kansainvälisenä alueena. Vuosina 1946–1952 YK:n päämaja sijaitsi Lake Successissa Long Islandilla ennen muuttoa Manhattanille.Vuonna 2008 aloitettiin jo 13 vuotta suunnitteilla ollut päämajan 1,2 miljardia euroa maksava kunnostus, jonka myötä sen on tarkoitus muuttua modernimmaksi, turvallisemmaksi ja ympäristöystävällisemmäksi rakennukseksi.2000-luvun alussa pääsihteeri Kofi Annan julisti päämajan savuttomaksi tilaksi.

The tour dates are subject to change and not always available. You need to purchase the tour ticket online in advance and arrive one hour before the tours start to undergo a security check. You also need a valid government-issued photo ID.
For security reasons, children under 5 years of age are welcome to the UN but are not permitted on tour. For the Kids Tour (5-10 years) check the Visitor Center website.
First, go across the street from the UN to the Visitors Check-in Office at 801 First Avenue (Corner of 45th Street) before entering the UN.

Children (5-12 years old): $13
Choosing a free tour you will not see any of the significant parts of the Headquarters.
