Zoo d'Olomouc

Established in 1952, this zoological garden covers 42.5 hectares and hosts a diverse collection of exotic and native species. It includes themed pavilions and safari areas that showcase animals in naturalistic settings. The zoo participates in international breeding programs and plays a significant role in wildlife conservation, notably as one of the largest European breeders of South African Gemsbok and the keeper of the stud book for the East Caucasian tur.
