Musée norvégien de l'aviation

This national museum serves as Norway's largest technical museum and the largest aviation museum in the Nordic region. Spanning 10,000 square meters, the facility is housed in a distinctive building designed in the shape of a massive propeller. The exhibits provide a comprehensive overview of both civil and military aviation history, ranging from early pioneers to the modern era.

The collection consists of 46 aircraft, featuring notable historic models such as the U-2 spy plane, Starfighter, and Spitfire. These original aircraft are part of extensive military and civil collections that cover Cold War jet fighters and modern air power. A specialized restoration workshop is also located on-site to maintain the historic fleet.
