This district is the oldest port in the country and served as its primary commercial deepwater port from 1971 until December 2016, when operations were moved to Hamad Port. Originally a historic center for pearl diving, the area has been reimagined into a modern maritime destination that integrates its historical legacy with luxury facilities.
The site features the Grand Cruise Terminal and a world-class marina designed to accommodate international vessels and serve as a global hub for yachting.
