Constructed between 1815 and 1819, this Roman Catholic church is one of the few examples of purely Empire-style sacral architecture in the Czech Republic. The building is historically significant for its association with the Knightly Order of the Crusaders with the Red Star. It is a designated cultural heritage site.
The church serves as the main place of worship for the local parish, hosting regular liturgical services. In addition to its religious functions, the building is used as a venue for cultural events, specifically organ concerts.
