Founded in 1977 by the actor Raymond Burr, this 20-hectare botanical garden is recognized as a cultural heritage site. The grounds were originally curated to house a private collection and have since expanded into a large-scale horticultural display.
The collection features over 2,000 varieties of orchids, specifically highlighting Asian orchids and Cattleya hybrids. Beyond the orchid displays, the landscape contains a diverse range of native flora and tropical plants. A network of jungle walkways and a specialized boardwalk path lead through the dense vegetation.
The garden features several tranquil lily ponds and an open-air patio where fresh fruit juice is served. The site is open to the public, providing a peaceful landscape of walking paths and curated floral displays.
