Built between 1810 and 1812, this neoclassical hunting lodge is designed in the shape of a Roman triumphal arch. The structure, also known as Rendez-vous, was designed by architects Joseph Kornhäusel, Joseph Hardtmuth, and Josef Poppelack. It represents the Empire style architecture prevalent during the early 19th century and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The building is characterized by its rich sculptural decorations on the exterior. Inside, the main hall is adorned with elaborate stucco work. Historically classified as a salet, the lodge served as a gathering point for hunting parties.
