Dating from the 1st century BC to the 4th century AD, this archaeological site represents a significant late antique residential complex. Discovered in 1921, the remains cover an area of approximately 6,000 square meters. The complex is identified as a luxury imperial residence and is divided into three distinct sectors.
The site is renowned for its extensive polychrome mosaic flooring, which depicts intricate geometric patterns alongside detailed scenes of hunting and fishing. Structural remains include representative rooms and a private spa sector. These architectural elements provide insight into the domestic life and aesthetics of the Roman period.
An on-site Antiquarium serves as a museum, displaying a variety of artifacts recovered during excavations. The complex is open to the public, allowing for the exploration of the villa's ruins and the associated collection of archaeological finds.
