Dating back to 1889, this historic open-air bathhouse is recognized as the largest and best-preserved facility of its kind in the Nordic region. The architectural ensemble provides direct access to the sea for year-round swimming and traditional cold bathing.
The facility features separate areas for men and women, which include saunas and warm water tubs. A mixed sauna and steam baths are also available. The saunas are positioned to provide views across the water toward Copenhagen. Traditional skinny-dipping is a standard practice at the site during all seasons.
An on-site restaurant and cafe provide dining options, and massage services are available. The bathhouse remains open year-round, allowing for sea dips combined with the heat of the saunas.
