Construction of this lighthouse began in 1914, with the facility officially entering service in 1920. The structure reaches a height of 51 meters and was designed by the architect Albert Laprade. A renovation completed in 2024 updated the site, preserving its role as a significant monument while introducing new cultural spaces.
The tower is open to the public, requiring a climb of 256 steps to reach the lantern level. From this elevation, the surrounding rocky coastline and the nearby Hassan II Mosque are visible.
