ルーヴル美術館 は、パリにあるフランスの国立美術館。世界最大級の美術館 であるとともに世界最大級の史跡のひとつで、パリ中心部1区のセーヌ川の右岸に位置する。収蔵品38万点以上。先史時代から19世紀までのさまざまな美術品3万5,000点近くが、総面積6万600平方メートルの展示場所で公開されている。世界でもっとも入場者数の多い美術館で、毎年800万人を超える入場者が訪れ、2018年は初めて1,000万人を超えた。フランスの世界遺産であるパリのセーヌ河岸にも包括登録されている。
そのコレクションの一部は、日本を含め海外へ貸し出されることも多い。
