Lipa Cave

This significant karst cave system comprises approximately 2.5 kilometers of explored passages and halls. As the first cave in Montenegro opened for tourism, it represents a major natural monument with a geological history spanning millions of years. The underground environment is characterized by diverse cave formations, including numerous stalactites and stalagmites.

Access to the cave system is facilitated by a tourist train. Structured guided tours typically last about 60 minutes, focusing on the unique geological features and natural beauty of the subterranean landscape. These tours accommodate various interest levels, from family-oriented paths to more adventurous exploration routes.

The interior serves as an example of regional karst topography. The vast system of tunnels and chambers provides insight into the natural processes that shaped the area over millions of years. The facility is open to the public and functions as a prominent show cave.
