This 182-meter-high volcanic tuff cone was formed by hydrovolcanic activity. It features a large, bowl-shaped crater at its summit, which is covered in grass and supports a diverse ecosystem. Designated as Natural Monument No. 420 and a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, the peak is recognized for its significant geological value and unique landscape.
Known as Sunrise Peak, the site is a premier location for viewing the first sunrise of the year.
