Imperial Spa

Designed by architects Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer, this National Cultural Monument opened in 1895. The building is a representative example of Neo-Renaissance architecture and formerly served as a central thermal spa and prestigious balneological institution. It remains the largest and architecturally most significant spa building in the area, characterized by its rich interior decorations and historical importance.

Following an extensive reconstruction completed in 2023, the structure serves as a multifunctional cultural venue. The interior features a modern multifunctional hall used for concerts and artistic events, integrated into the historic fabric. The site is open to the public, and guided tours of the restored historic interiors provide insight into its original purpose and evolution.

Exhibitions are focused on the history of spa culture and the prominent figures who frequented the area. The cultural program includes regular concerts, film screenings, and artistic exhibitions held within the preserved spaces.
