Standing at an elevation of 2,710 meters, this summit is the second-highest in the Niesen chain. It is the second-to-last mountain in the range when viewed from north to south. The terrain consists of steep slopes used for mountaineering and simple climbing tours. The peak is a destination for alpine climbing.
The mountain features a demanding crossing between Schwandfälspitz and Furggi. This route involves challenging climbing sections and is a known objective for experienced mountaineers.
