The Ivan the Great Bell Tower is a church tower inside the Moscow Kremlin complex. With a total height of 81 metres, it is the tallest tower and structure of the Kremlin. It was built in 1508 on Cathedral Square for the three Russian Orthodox cathedrals, namely the Assumption, the Archangel and the Annunciation, which do not have their own belfries. It serves as a part of Moscow Kremlin Museums.
Download Download See moreThe tower museum is accessible on a tour only. The tours start at 10:15 am, 11:15 am, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm and an additional session at 5 pm from May 15 to Sep 30.
During the winter season the Bell-Tower is closed for visiting.

Tickets are available in the museums' ticket office at Aleksandrovsky Sad (Alexander Garden) 45 minutes before the session.
Note: Children under 14 are not permitted to visit the Bell-Tower.
