This proud historical palace is the most recognizable landmark in Nagoya. It gained fame for the golden dolphins (called kinshachi) decorating it.
Visit to find out what the life of a castle lord may have been like, or to admire the impressive collection of weapons and armor stored in the 4F exhibit hall.
As of 2018, the palace is under reconstruction (scheduled to be completed this year), however, visitors are still free to access it.
