Žinoma, kaip Didžioji Kamakura Buda, ši didžiulė bronzinė Amidos Buda statula yra antras pagal dydį šalyje (13,35 m). Jis taip pat yra vienas iš seniausių tokio pobūdžio, pastatytas dar 1252 m.
Tačiau yra ir dar vienas dalykas apie šį Budą: statula yra tuščiavidurė, taigi lankytojai gali ją įeiti. Tai net leidžiama fotografuoti viduje.
